Darlene Shadden

God has given Darlene a very special gift - the ability to express
the essence of an individual: spirit, soul and character.

The vivid colors that she chooses to use are inspired by her favorite
artist Van Gogh. She prefers the mediums of acrylics, charcoals,
and pastels to dramatize and define her subject.

She tries to paint what the eye overlooks but the heart sees,
where imagination and reality co-exist to enhance one another.

Every painting is like a page in her diary.
A part of her lives inside each one.
